Tucson Takes Part in National Drive Electric Week with Two Events
WHEN: Thursday, September 30, 2021, 9am-2pm
WHERE: Jacome Plaza, 101 N Stone Ave (by the Joel Valdez “Main” Library)
VISUALS: There will be fully electric vehicles from at least 6 different manufacturers displayed by their owners. Questions and discussion is encouraged.
WHEN: Saturday, October 2, 2021, 9am-2pm
WHERE: Automotive Technology and Innovation Center (ATIC), Pima CC,
1255 N Stone, Outside East of the building where 11th Ave used to be.
Outside: Multiple EVs brought by their owners, a possible swarm of TESLAs, and if they can shake some EVs loose, we have invited car dealers to bring vehicles to show and maybe test drive.
Inside: Presentation sessions: “EV101”, “Charging and Road Tripping”, “Solar, Efficiency and EVs”
Masks are currently required inside all PCC buildings.
Due to construction between the ATIC and the rest of campus, entrance from Stone by vehicle will not get you to the ATIC. You can get there from Drachman and Speedway on 11th AVE or from Main Ave turn east on Mabel or Helen.
